Thank you for your service

Dear Best Friend,
I want to thank you. Thank you for being my best friend. Thank you for being my shoulder to cry on, my person I can call at 1 in the morning just to talk, the person who is always down for food dates and car rides. Thank you for listening to my pointless drama no matter if it's family, friends, boys or just life in general. Thanks for being my workout partner and keeping me motivated to lose over 50 pounds. Thank you for being a daughter and granddaughter to my family and letting me be a daughter in your family. But most of all I want to thank you for your service. In 84 short days you will be gone. My best friend who I am so use to having on speed dial will be gone. Gone for 5 months. Even though I will miss you more than anything, I am beyond proud of you for working so hard to get where you are now. One thing that is for sure is I am one proud Air Force bestie. From yearbook to graduations to someday weddings and children, I know we will be forever friends family forever through any and everything. So thanks Em, thanks for going to fight for my freedoms, thanks for sticking by my side but most importantly thanks for being my best friend and rock. Life would be boring without lil em.
With so much love,
Moe

Grandkids Week year 5

Hello to my loyal readers! I know it's been a while since I posted anything but between school, work and family life got pretty hectic there for a little while. But I'm back in full swing ready to catch you up on all things Faith, Family and Fitness.

I want to share something really fun I got to do lately. For the past five years, my Memaw and Pawpaw have taken all six of their grandchild (brave I know) for a week and we've all gone on a really cool adventure. This one week of the year is normally the only week all six grandkids get to see each other out of the whole year, so our time together is always full of laughter, memories and sometimes drama lol. This year we traveled two long days to Branson, Missouri. This year my parents tagged along to try and get in on the fun we have.

Our first activity of the week was to see a comedy show on the strip. We went and saw Presleys' Country Jubilee. When I say that was a funny show, I was a tears rolling, side splitting comedy show. It was both clean enough for the whole family and funny enough for all ages.

Next on the agenda was old time pictures. For the longest time we have talked about taking these and this year we finally were able to all dress up as southern belles and cowboys for some really neat flashback pictures.

Finally the big event was Silver Dollar City. We spent two days at Silver Dollar City riding roller coasters, watching shows and sweating in the summer heat.

This year was one for the books and one I am sure we will never forget! Until next time,

XOXO Moe
